Ngl, I loved the old formulation and I was very loyal to it and i HATE when brands change things that are clearly working especially things I consider my holy grails BUT this is definitely an exception. I love the new formulation even more than the old. I don’t know if it’s as moisturising, but it definitely clumps my curls together better, gives me the best ringlets WITHOUT weighing my hair down throughout the week (which the old formulation kinda of did do) so the definition actually lasts. I applied it a week ago and my hair has been just as defined the entire week which is insane. Might have to use a leave in under it for extra moisture if u have courser hair like me but I’ll take that trade off ngl. im very pleasantly surprised and I will continue to buy it

Been using this for a while, smooth to apply and use in combination with the curl spray it adds moisture and shine

It's just amazing. Really defines my curls. Doesn't make it hard. I love it!

The original recipe with sea kelp and mango butter was absolutely superb, I have used it for years. The texture the smell … everything. The NEW recipe is revolting. I bought six ( not realising it’s changed) and it’s now awful . The texture and particularly the smell. Obviously going for cheaper ingredients: “rice water & black oats”. Rice water?? I could drain my own rice and apply rice water to my hair. I’m certainly not buying this again. Such a shame
