needs! This specially designed formula contains Gliadin wheat protein that deposits preferentially where the hair fiber is most damaged. Meaning that the parts of the hair that are most damaged get the most treatment. It penetrates into the hair fibre, improving the damaged hair's strength. Hair is characterised by high concentrations of disulphide bonds which give it its structure and shape (other bonds are hydrogen and ionic bonds however are temporary and weaker in their function within the hair). These disulphide bonds can weaken through colouring your hair, using relaxers, swimming in chlorinated water, bleaching etc. Wheat proteins composed by Gliadin are abundant with disulphide bonds and are an effective ingredient in stabilising and supporting damaged hair. Improved elasticity occurs and this makes hair more resistant to breaks, splits and snaps. Overall, the integrity and structure of hair is improved - like putting a shield back in place.
